GS1 Onboarding

Frequently asked questions
What happens when I exceed my SKU limit?
Overages are billed at £1.50 per additional SKU per month. You can also upgrade your plan at any time — upgrades are prorated.
What is the GS1 onboarding add-on?
For £250 one-off, we help you apply for and set up a GS1 prefix, giving your products a globally recognised GTIN. Available on all plans, purchased separately.
Can I trial before committing?
Yes — 14 days free, no credit card required. You get full access to all Starter plan features during the trial.
What does white-label mean in practice?
Your QR codes link to your own domain (e.g. compliance.yourbrand.com) instead of passport.verifab.com. Verifab is invisible to your customers and buyers.
Is annual billing locked in?
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront and are non-refundable past the 14-day trial period. You can cancel before the next renewal date to avoid being charged again.
When does ESPR compliance become mandatory?
The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) mandates Digital Product Passports for textile products from 2027. The delegated act for apparel is in consultation now — brands that act early will be ahead.
